Krezip makes comeback in Ziggo Dome
Dutch band Krezip returns for a concert at the Ziggo Dome on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Pinkpop, the festival where they made their breakthrough in 2000, will also be performing for a reunion show. This will be the band's first performance since their farewell shows ten years ago.
The Tilburg band has just officially confirmed via a television campaign that they're "doing it one more time" after a ten-year hiatus. In 2019, everything will fall into place. "It's been ten years since Krezip broke up, and Pinkpop is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. A reunion for our fortieth, how cool is that?! Let's fucking celebrate"," says singer Jacqueline Govaert. "We want to celebrate life, the fact that we're ten years older, all healthy, and still friends. We want to play all our songs one last time, at Pinkpop and end the year at the Ziggo Dome!"
Krezip made their breakthrough in 2000 after a performance at Pinkpop, after which the whole of the Netherlands and Belgium became addicted to the super hit 'I Would Stay', which reached the top of the charts in both countries.
