Friday, October 14, 1977, marked the release of Heroes, David Bowie's twelfth studio album. 1977 was a busy year for the British musician. Bowie produced Iggy Pop's albums The Idiot and Lust For Life, appeared with Marlene Dietrich and Kim Novak in Just A Gigolo, and also provided the voice for Eugene Ormandy's version of Peter And The Wolf.
